tomcat not starting when new collector added

Hello,

I am trying to add a new collector to the opencms-vfs.xml config file, but when I restart tomcat I get this error:

--------------------
The following critical error occured:
Critical error during OpenCms initialization: Unable to read the OpenCms XML configuration.
Giving up, unable to start OpenCms.
--------------------

What am I missing?? The class file for this collector has been added, and I tried to look for other places to add this configuration but no other file needs it.

nevermind, after re-uploading the collector class file and restarting tomcat several times, it worked. i'm not sure what happened there...
